Birchbox + Rifle Paper Co.
I've been eyeing Birchbox for a while and decided to finally sign up when I saw that they were offering this beautiful collaboration with Rifle Paper Co. for the month of April. The box is even prettier in person. It's definitely worth the $10 a month as far as I can tell. The samples aren't super tiny and I liked all of the ones I got in this box. I am waiting on my May box to arrive. I'm pretty excited to see what kind of samples I'll get in it.
I've tried 4 of the 5 samples I received and I really liked a few of them.
Harvey Prince Yogini perfume sample - The scent wasn't my favorite. It wasn't bad but it isn't my style I suppose. It's a bit musty with floral hints. I haven't worn it so I'm not sure how long it lasts.
Supergoop! Daily Correct CC Cream SPF 35+ - This was just a little too dark for my skin tone. It says light/medium but it's definitely more on the medium side. It went on smoothly and evenly but it was just too dark for me to actually use.
Temple Spa Peace Be Still Calming Face and Body Balm - This stuff is awesome! I am tempted to order some because it works so well. I have been using it as a face moisturizer and it has a nice light scent and doesn't leave my face feeling greasy or slimy.
Jane Iredale "Just Kissed" Lip and Cheek Stain - I really like this a lot! I have used it on my lips and it's a great natural pink color. It goes really well with my super light skin tone and is the right amount of color for a basic/simple everyday look. It stays on pretty well also.
Real Chemistry Luminous 3-minute Peel - I haven't gotten a chance to try this but it has great ratings on the Birchbox site.

Cold brew heaven
Our local Whole Foods just started selling Grady's Cold Brew and Stumptown Cold Brew. You have no idea how excited I was when I saw them. The Grady's is absolutely delicious. I mixed equal parts cold brew and equal parts milk and it was perfect!

snack time
Surprise! Bet ya thought that was coffee in the mug huh? I'm a little surprised myself but milk and cookies just sounded like the perfect snack that day.

Easter weekend
This weekend was a lot of fun. Fletcher got to do a little modeling for a local clothing company, we got to visit our favorite coffee shop in Tulsa and celebrate Easter!
My dad and I dyed eggs like we do every year. This year we only dyed a few but it was still super fun. Then, Fletcher and I went out and found a pretty pink redbud tree to take some photos in front of. I'm so excited that the trees and flowers are blooming and the weather is getting warmer. Fall will always be my favorite but Spring is a very close second.
