Our little Christmas

We decided to exchange our gifts before we left to go visit family. I definitely enjoy having our own little Christmas each year. 

Otter just could not stand knowing something was in her stocking. She had 4 toys in there and we had already given her one a few days before and she did not forget that there was a toy in there! She would walk around and whine and look at it until we gave her one. It was pretty cute. 

She loved her toy that Sam & Rob got her! 

Every year, Fletcher and I fill up each others stockings. It's probably my favorite tradition we have. This year we didn't have as much in them because we kind of couldn't wait and had given each other some of our presents early that probably would have been put in our stockings but we got impatient! Oops...

Fletcher was pretty happy with his sweets! 

I told Fletcher a super long time ago that my favorite thing to get is cards. I just love the thought and effort it takes to pic a cute card and then actually write something thoughtful and heartfelt inside it. Now, every holiday I get a card. It's my favorite thing ever. He's seriously the sweetest ever. He also is an amazing gifter.

I would have had 2 more little Kinder bars but someone (Otter) decided that she needed all the stockings and she had knocked mine down earlier that day and somehow taken all the stuff out of the stocking and got the box of Kinder bars from the very bottom of my stocking and chewed through the box and ate two of them! Luckily, she was fine. They didn't have very much chocolate to them so it wasn't bad. She's a brat.

Here are a few snaps from today. I felt randomly inspired to get out the camera and play around a bit. Of course, this precious little puppy is extremely photogenic so it's easy to find a subject around here.

The other evening Fletcher, Cody and I decided to go drive around and scout out some places to do a photo shoot soon. I'll be working on some promo shots for Cody. We went to check out this old abandoned train. It's been just sitting on these tracks for years and hasn't moved at all. 

Today, Fletcher and I went on a little day date. I wore a dress for the first time this year. I love this dress. It's from Target. I tried to get Otter to take a picture with me but she was waay too hyper and just wanted to run around in circles and play. She loves the nice weather and it's so nice to have a yard she can run around in. I've been slowly trying to teach Fletcher how to use my camera so we can have some pictures with me in them too! Ha! He's not too enthusiastic about it but he's been trying. :) 

Snow Day

 Last week we had a little snow day. I woke up to a layer of snow that had fallen over night and it lasted most of the day until it started melting just before sun down. It was so pretty. Hopefully, this will happen again tonight. I'm about to head to bed so maybe when I wake up everything will be white again!! Otter doesn't much like the snow. I had to go outside with her to show her it was alright but she got cold really fast so she was ready to go back in. She's so silly. 

 Otter has been extra adorable lately.

my weekend in photos

We started the weekend Thursday night with a bike ride to get a snow cone. We saw some cute bunnies on our bike ride. 

Friday we had lunch with our friend Kaylee and her little sister then that evening we went to our other friend's house to visit. Otter got to go on that little adventure.

Saturday we headed to the mall with Josh & Kaylee and of course had to go to the candy store. They brought their puppy over for a little play date. I also got a new perfume to add to my Pink collection. It smells amazing. 

Sunday we headed over to Fletcher's Aunt and Uncle's house for a little swim day. I made blackberry cobbler and it was literally gone within 15 minutes. 

I'm starting off the week with a super yummy smoothie (peach, strawberry and banana).

I couldn't think of a good title for this post. It's kind of just a jumble of lots of things recently. So, here we go!

My thrift finds from last weekend. I got all of this for $15!! A few of those books have been on my reading list for a while now so I was super excited that I found them!

Yeah, I totally found this awesomeness for $5 the other day at a flea market. Perfect condition and it said the cassette has never been played! I pretty much love it.
