It's that time of year and Silly Love Songs is back!!!

For the first song of the year I chose this song from this week's episode of Glee. Yeah, I'm a Gleek... I"ll admit it. But I think my husband loves it almost as much as I do haha!

I really love this song. I can remember the first time I saw my love's face. I remember the exact day. It was Feb. 13th, 2004, almost 8 years ago. It was my first day of school in Oklahoma and it would be a few months before I actually met him and we started dating.

One of those days...

I've needed two of these today. I've been so tired lately. I think it's the stress of finals and final projects being due. I have turned in 1 research paper and a photography portfolio so far. One more paper to go. I'm about halfway done with it. I also had an encounter with a rather rude teacher today. I did like him until then. It was dumb. Luckily, I have some absolutely amazing friends (near and far, very far) and an amazing family and husband to make me feel better. Only 2 more weeks of school! Here's a bit of an update on that. After this semester I'm taking a break, don't know how long, from school. I have been going for 3 years now and I've changed my major 3 times which means I'm still at least 2 years from any degree I could want. Funny thing is, I can't figure out what I want. So, I've decided to take a break from college and focus on things I love like baking, crafting and learning about things I'm genuinely interested in like nutrition and extreme couponing (yes, I'm serious). Also, of course, catching up on some reading! I've been dying to read Water for Elephants and the new Pioneer Woman book. I just haven't had time with all of the reading for school and the assignments. I've realized lately that I've put so many things on the back burner because of school and it's really not getting me anywhere. I am so lucky to have an absolutely amazing husband that can provide for us and I don't have to work. I'm hoping that someday I can find something to help out in the financial department but I just can't figure out what I want to do. I'm hoping that once Summer starts I can begin learning about myself and growing. I'm very excited and of course, I'll be back to blogging more regularly as well! I'm most excited about that. I've made a few really good friends through blogging and I can't wait to meet more awesome people! I hope you are all just excited as I am for things to come! 

Long time no see...

or chat! Sorry that I've been missing lately. We finally got all moved into our new house! OUR house! We own it! Sorry, that's still really exciting for me. I hate that I've been neglecting the blog so much but with moving and school I have been the busiest person ever! I have midterms the next couple of weeks and then after that 2 research papers due! So, looks like I'll be gone again for a while. After this semester though, I am not sure where my education process is going to go. I only have 1 semester left for my scholarship then after that I'll be paying for school myself. I have been so blessed with being able to go to school for this long for free but I can't figure out what I'm even doing going to school. I love to learn but I have no clue what I want to do. I would like to work but not at a regular type of job. I would honestly love to do something with makeup, photography or food. Those 3 options sound easy enough but they really aren't. I would love to go to cosmetology school for makeup and I'd love to take some more photography classes to learn more about that too. I do also love the thought of doing hair. As much as I can't do my own hair I think it would be really awesome to be able to do other people's hair. I don't know. At this point in my life I am just trying to figure it all out. Luckily, I have an amazing husband who is supporting me the entire way. Never once has he told me I need to get a job or tried to make me get one. He really is amazing. I couldn't ask for a better husband and and best friend. 

In lighter news, I finally got an iPhone which means...MORE PICTURES!!! I have downloaded the hipstamatic app and the instagram app. Both of which I love so far! So, now that it will be easier to snap quick pictures on the go be ready for a ton more pictures from me!
