Moving, moving, moving...

Looks like they are getting a lot done huh? HA!!
They did do a pretty good job though. We got everything moved to the storage unit and some stuff moved to the other house we'll be staying in. All that's left is our bed and the recliner I'm currently sitting in. There is news on the house...today we set up closing for Tuesday. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it doesn't get moved!! I would looove to be moving into our house on Tuesday! Anyway, back to watching Julie & Julia (one of my favorites)!

here we go...

The moving process is underway. It's taking forever for the bank to get everything together so we can close on our house so yet another week or two before we get to move into the place. In the meantime we have to be moved out of our rent house by the 1st. Fletcher and I decided to go to Texas this weekend to see my brother which means we have to be completely moved out by FRIDAY!!! Luckily, Fletcher's amazing aunt has a rental house about twenty minutes from us that she is kindly letting us stay in until we move into our house. This is the second time she has solved our no home problems!!! So, everything we own has been put into a storage unit and some of it is getting moved to the other rental....so we are kind of moving 3 or 4 times. Not so much fun. I'll be so glad when this ordeal is over with and we are finally in OUR house!!! So exciting!!! Once we get settled into the new house I have some big plans for this blog and a few other things! I can't wait to share!!

OH! We got a new table for free from some of our amazing friends and they happen to be Fletcher's old youth pastor and wife. We are doing some work on the table and painting it and the chairs black and I had Fletcher's Mom reupholster the seats and they look absolutely amazing! We found the perfect fabric at the first place we looked! I love it when that happens!
Here's a sneak peek!!

5 favorite beauty products

Anyone who knows me knows that I love anything that has to do with cosmetics and beauty products. I'm also sure that one thing automatically comes to mind when they think of me... MAC Cosmetics. I am completely obsessed. It is the only makeup I use and by far my favorite for many many reasons. Their shadows, liners, and mascaras look great and stay on great all day long. Also, they have such a wide variety of colors and shades that the possibilities are endless when it comes to eyeshadows and lipsticks. They are a great company too, they support finding a cure for aids, they have a whole line of lipsticks that the profit goes straight to the MAC Aids fund.
This "Barbie Loves MAC" line was one of my absolute favorites.

Next, we have my favorite skin care line at the moment, Murad. I discovered this at Ulta about 2 or 3 months ago and I'm hooked. I have tried so many different acne treatments and none of them have worked anywhere near as good as this one has for me. Proactiv worked for a little bit then just stopped and I've tried Neutrogena and even an organic brand from Whole Foods and this is the first one that has worked for longer than a month. The whole kit works together to make one amazing acne treatment regimen. I use most of the steps daily, the cleanser, the spot treatment, the exfoliating gel and the moisturizer and my skin has never looked better. It's a tad pricey but I definitely think it's worth it and the bottles last for a really long time too.

My favorite fragrance at the moment is Pink with A Splash, Fresh & Clean. It smells amazing. It's fresh and yet a little fruity. Love it!

Next up we have my favorite lotion. I don't think I'll ever change lotions again. It's OPI Avojuice in Peach Juicee. It is the most amazing lotion I've ever tried! It doesn't stay sticky and slimy hours after you put it on it dries fairly quickly and is so soft and smooth and of course the fragrance is amazing! Peaches are my favorite fruit and I love the smell of fresh peaches.

Last, but definitely not least, is my current obsession...China Glaze nail polishes. I have been collecting them for a few months now and I have, let's just say, a lot. Out of all the nail polishes I've been trying lately they are by far the best. They last the longest and don't chip as easily and a lot of the others I've tried. The only competitor at the moment would be OPI polishes but I don't have many of those so I couldn't really give a great opinion but they seem to last quite a while too.

My current fave is the 3 from the left on the bottom row. Second would be the second from the right on the bottom. :)

I also picked up this little gem the other day at Ulta. It is a matte top coat that makes any polish have a matte finish. It is awesome!

Let me know what your 5 faves are!

Here's the big news! We bought a house! All we are waiting on now is closing day which should be next week or so! It's so exciting! The only thing I'm not looking forward to is packing. I can't wait to paint and get all moved in and unpacked! Once we get moved in I'll be back to blogging more, it's just been so busy with all the house stuff going on and the 4th of July and everything else!
